Meet Susan

A career built by opening doors
Susan Weis began her career in the 1980s as a loan officer for a local Dearborn bank, becoming one of the first women the institution hired into the role. Some colleagues told her she would never succeed in a position traditionally held by men. Susan answered by earning approximately 20% of the local market in an area where the bank had previously struggled.
After the bank was acquired, Susan joined Flagstar Bank. Within six months, she helped open a new facility and later managed the operation as it grew into Flagstar’s number-one branch nationwide based on loans closed. The experience sharpened the financial knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving skills she now brings to every real estate transaction.
During the foreclosure crisis, Susan founded the nonprofit Foreclosure Credit Solutions to help homeowners pursue loan modifications. When lender cooperation was limited, she became deeply experienced in short sales—work that ultimately launched her career as a leading area Realtor®.
Susan later managed real estate offices for Coldwell Banker Professionals and Century 21 Town & Country in Troy. In those leadership roles, she trained and guided new agents, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and professional standards needed to build successful careers.
In 2026, Susan was named one of the top real estate professionals in her market through the RealTrends Verified City Rankings—recognition reflecting the trust, consistency, and strong community reputation she has built throughout her career.
Today, Susan remains driven by the people behind every move. She helps clients make informed decisions, treats every relationship with care, and works strategically to help sellers achieve the strongest possible result for their homes.

Return to the beginningSeller guidance
Every property and every move is different. These are some of the questions Susan helps Southeastern Michigan homeowners answer before they list.
Susan studies recent comparable sales, active competition, buyer demand, the condition of the home, and the features that make it distinct. The goal is a launch price that creates attention while protecting the seller’s negotiating position.
The best preparation is specific to the home. Susan helps prioritize the repairs, presentation, and finishing touches most likely to matter to today’s buyers—so sellers can focus their time and money where it counts.
No. Susan’s approach is built on the belief that luxury is the level of care a client receives. Thoughtful advice, polished marketing, clear communication, and strong advocacy should be part of every move.
Susan serves communities throughout Wayne, Oakland, and Washtenaw counties, including Plymouth, Northville, Canton, Belleville, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Ann Arbor, and surrounding areas. She also specializes in luxury and waterfront properties throughout Oakland County’s distinctive lake communities.
A waterfront home requires a strategy that communicates the complete property experience. Susan considers the lake setting, access, frontage, views, outdoor spaces, condition, competing properties, and likely buyer when developing the pricing, presentation, and negotiation plan.
Early planning can create more choices. Even if a move is months away, Susan can help you understand market conditions, preparation priorities, timing, and the steps that will position you well when you are ready.
